Lack of dialogue

I was reading a post over at our good friends the Abolitionist Society of Oklahoma's blog, and felt compelled to comment. The story was about a baby who was born in perfect health despite being 100 percent guaranteed to be handicapped.

So I commented, pointing out how cool that story was, how Jesus deserved to be praised because such a story had occurred, and how there are lots of horses that are given similar prognoses and don't get a chance to be born.

Less than a minute after my comment was posted, someone had deleted it.

Why?

After mocking and insulting our cause in an earlier post, the ASO said this: "I find this incredibly humorous. I don't have any hard feelings. I just wish they wanted to dialogue."

And yet, when he want to have dialogue, our comments are deleted. This is truly a shame, but we won't stop trying to communicate with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

  1. Your satire was sort of funny when I first saw it, but it gets old quick.

Thanks, however, for the imitation; it's the sincerest form of flattery. And we will outlast you.

Anyway, it was Blogger's spam filter that ate your idiotic comment. I've done everyone a great disservice by Not-Spamming it. Let me go ahead and alert you, though - if you flame our comboxes with idiotic self-promotion, you'll be banned and your comments deleted. Make your comments substantive and we'll get along.

  2. I apologize for the misunderstanding. I don't appreciate my views being called "idiotic," though. That's not constructive or "substantive" at all, is it?

I respect your views. Please respect ours.
